Yes, we will pursue all outstanding parking tickets. Unlike other companies who charge for their service, our interest is wholly in getting the parking ticket paid. P4Parking is a free service, we incur costs setting up each account and therefore we must recover all unpaid PCNs to ensure each account is financially viable.
A: The DVLA require all parking operators who wish to access their data to belong to an Accredited Trade Association (ATA). We are members of the BPA’s Approved Operator Scheme, which is an ATA that the DVLA recognise, and as such we have an electronic link to the DVLA. As part of their various compliance processes, we are routinely audited by both the BPA and the DVLA.
You can pay the PCN quickly by clicking the Pay a Ticket or Appeal a PCN at the top of the page. The quickest and most convenient way to pay your PCN is online using your debit or credit card.
Before you start to pay a PCN or appeal, make sure you have the following at hand:
- Your Parking Charge Notice number at the top of the PCN
- Your Vehicle Registration Number
- Your Debit or Credit Card
The PCN you received should be paid within 28 days from the date of issue however, a prompt payment discount rate is available if paid within 14 days of the date of issue.
If you want to dispute the PCN, you can do so by accessing the appeals form on the website. If you send your appeal by post, all correspondence must include the Parking Charge Notice reference number, your vehicle registration mark, your name, address and the name of the driver (if different) and any supporting evidence.
If the appeal is unsuccessful, your next step would be to appeal to Parking on Private Land Appeals (POPLA). However, keep in mind, that POPLA will not accept an appeal if you have not appealed to the operator beforehand.
If you fail to pay the Parking Charge Notice within 28 days from the date of the issue, this may result in your case being transferred to a Debt Recovery Agent, which may incur additional administrative charges or court costs.
